Contract Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager/Specialist to lead and oversee complex procurement activities. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and in-depth knowledge of contract regulations and best practices.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Exercise warrant authority to award and modify diverse contract actions, adhering to delegated thresholds.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of contract specialists, ensuring timely and accurate procurement execution.
• Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition strategies and plans for complex and routine requirements.
• Provide expert guidance and oversight on contract actions to specialists and program partners.
• Review and edit contract documents to ensure strict compliance with federal acquisition regulations, agency policies, and procurement best practices.
• *Requirements:**
• A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in federal or private sector contracting.
• Experience must demonstrate proficiency in contract warrant authority, team supervision, acquisition strategy development, and regulatory compliance.
