Summary
Seeking a GS-13 Federal Contracting Specialist to manage contract development, solicitation, negotiation, and administration with specialized experience.
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Contracting Specialist at the GS-13 level to manage complex federal contracts. This role requires expertise in all phases of the contracting lifecycle, from initial planning to administration.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Guide technical teams in developing Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and data requirements.
- Structure bid schedules and prepare comprehensive solicitations.
- Identify and determine appropriate sources for solicitation.
- Execute full contract management and administration, including negotiating and finalizing supplemental agreements.
- *Minimum Qualifications (GS-13):**
To qualify for this position, you must meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 1102 series and demonstrate:
- **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 federal grade level. This experience must clearly show proficiency in the responsibilities listed above.
- *and Basic Requirements (for GS-13 and Above Contracting Positions):**
- **Mandatory Training:** Completion of all agency-prescribed training for GS-13 or higher-level contracting positions.
- **Total Contracting Experience:** A minimum of four years in contracting or related roles.
- **Specialized Experience (within total):** At least one year of your experience must be specialized, at or equivalent to the GS-12 level, providing the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
- **Education:** A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
