## Contracting Specialist (GS-13)

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracting Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of federal government contracts, from planning and award to administration. This role requires comprehensive expertise in all phases of the contracting process.

### Key Requirements:

• **Education:** Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Official transcripts are required.

* *Exemption:* Current DoD 1102 series employees or Armed Forces members continuously in relevant contracting positions before October 1, 2000, are exempt from the degree requirement. Proof of status required.

• **Certification:** Must possess or be willing to complete mandatory Contracting Professional Certification training within 36 months, as prescribed by DoDI 5000.66.
• **Specialized Experience (GS-13):** Minimum one year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 level (Federal, Military, or Private Sector) demonstrating expertise across all phases of federal government contract planning, awarding, and administration (cradle-to-grave).
• **Competencies:** Proven ability to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including a strong background, recent experience, education, and training relevant to federal contracting.
