Contract Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracting Specialist to manage complex contracts. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, which offers an expedited hiring process.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Award, administer, and negotiate complex contracts, including procurement, pricing, construction service, supply and design, time and materials, cost reimbursements, and acquisitions.
• Lead and guide teams of contract specialists on projects.
• Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies.
• *Minimum Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of experience in contracting or related positions, with at least 1 year of specialized experience at a GS-12 level or equivalent. This specialized experience must include:

* Awarding, administering, and negotiating various complex contract types. * Leading contract specialist teams or projects. * Developing negotiation strategies.

• **Education:** A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. This degree must include or be supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
• **Certifications:** You must possess one of the following:

* FAC-C Level II or III Certification (FAC-C Level III or Professional preferred). * DAWIA Level II or III Certification. * *Note: If your certification is over 2 years old, 100 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) are required to maintain it.*
