Summary
Seeking a Contract Specialist to manage, negotiate, and administer procurement contracts within a federal environment.
Join our team as a Contract Specialist, responsible for managing, negotiating, and administering essential contracts within a federal environment.
- *Responsibilities:**
- *For GS-11 Level:**
- Evaluate quotes and proposals for acquisition actions.
- Negotiate contract prices, terms, and conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive acquisition documents, including solicitations, contracts, market research, and award documents.
- Review acquisition documents to ensure adherence to regulations and contract terms.
- Ensure compliance with agency-specific policies and internal guidance.
- *For GS-12 Level (includes all GS-11 duties, plus):**
- Analyze complex price and cost information to support conclusions.
- Negotiate, award, and administer a diverse portfolio of contracts.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on procurement preparation, specifications, and work statements.
- Manage multiple procurement actions concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Review procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy, and completeness.
- *Requirements:**
- **Basic Education:** Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
- **For GS-11 Level:**
- **For GS-12 Level:**
- **Federal Eligibility:** Applicants must meet federal employment eligibility criteria, including Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade for current federal employees).
