Summary

Manages complex federal contracts, applying FAR, conducting negotiations, and performing cost/price analysis.

Join our team as a Contract Administrator, responsible for managing complex contracts within Federal acquisition regulations. We are seeking candidates at both the GS-12 and GS-13 levels.

  • *Core Requirements:**
  • **Education:** A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. (Exception: Current DoD/Armed Forces 1102 or comparable contracting position held before Sept 30, 2000, are exempt from the degree requirement).
  • **Contracting Experience:** A minimum of two years of experience in a contracting position.
  • **Specialized Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience directly related to contract administration duties.
  • *Specific Experience Levels:**
  • *GS-12 Contract Administrator:**

Requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating ability to assist with:

  • Applying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and statutes to complex contracts.
  • Conducting post-award negotiations and managing various contractual agreements.
  • Performing cost and price analysis on proposals.
  • Analyzing business practices to understand contractor costs, commercial pricing, and conducting on-site performance surveys.
  • Reviewing contract provisions based on cost accounting standards.
  • *GS-13 Contract Administrator:**

Requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, demonstrating proficiency in:

  • Independently applying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and statutes to complex contracts.
  • Utilizing negotiation and communication techniques for post-award negotiations and diverse contractual agreements.
  • Expertly applying cost and price analysis techniques to proposals.
  • Analyzing business and industry practices to identify cost factors, understand commercial pricing, and conduct comprehensive contractor performance surveys.
  • Interpreting and applying cost accounting standards and practices to review contract provisions effectively.
