Computer Scientist

Seeking a highly skilled Computer Scientist/Engineer (GS-15 equivalent) to lead complex infrastructure engineering and system development projects. Federal experience is not required; relevant experience from public, private, or volunteer sectors is accepted.

• *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
• Apply theoretical foundations of computer science, including system architecture, software organization, and information structures.
• Possess specialized knowledge of system design characteristics, limitations, and applications, alongside relevant mathematical and statistical sciences.
• Demonstrate professional competence in:

* Infrastructure Engineering & Design * Engineering Solution & Implementation * System Capacity Analysis * Security research, acquisition, design, development, and maintenance of information systems.

• Provide professional and technical leadership in the conceptual design, formulation, and development of major prototype/developmental systems, or extensive modifications and upgrades to existing systems, adapting to evolving technology and requirements.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a bachelor's with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
• At least 15 of these 30 semester hours must include statistics and mathematics, with differential and integral calculus.
• One year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to the GS-14 grade level (federal or non-federal equivalent).
