Job Description
Summary
Seeking an experienced Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex computer hardware/software information systems.
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer. Federal, public, private, or volunteer sector experience is welcome.
- *Qualifications:**
- *1. Basic Engineering Requirement:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or specific coursework including calculus and advanced engineering science/physics (e.g., statics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical fields, materials properties).
- **or Combination of Education & Experience:** Demonstrated thorough knowledge of physical/mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and practical understanding of engineering sciences, proven by one of the following:
- *2. Specialized Experience (GS-14 Level Equivalent):**
- One year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.
- Mastery knowledge of fundamental professional engineering and scientific principles.
- Technical experience in the research, design, and development of integrated computer hardware/software information systems.
- Expertise in systems design principles and development methodologies.
