Lead federal IT strategy and operations as a Senior Executive, driving efficiency and mission success through technology.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide executive-level IT guidance and counsel to top management within a large, complex organization.
  • Align IT program management activities with mission priorities.
  • Lead and inspire an IT workforce to deliver on key mission objectives.
  • Drive enterprise-level IT initiatives to enhance mission efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Re-engineer business processes and resolve complex IT problems.
  • *Required Qualifications:**

Candidates must demonstrate executive-level experience and competence in the following areas:

  • *Professional/Technical Qualifications (PTQs):**
  • **Strategic IT Leadership:** Proven experience providing IT guidance to top executives, aligning IT programs with mission priorities, and leading IT workforces.
  • **Enterprise IT Improvement:** Demonstrated ability to leverage IT for enterprise-level efficiency, effectiveness, business process re-engineering, and complex problem resolution.
  • *Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs):**
  • **Commitment to Founding Principles:** Knowledge of the American government system, commitment to the Constitution, rule of law, and public service.
  • **Driving Efficiency:** Strategic resource and budget management, cost reduction, and efficiency through process and technological upgrades.
  • **Merit and Competence:** Consistently produce work of exceptional quality.
  • **Leading People:** Inspire and guide teams towards organizational goals, fostering a high-performance, high-accountability culture, including leading through change.
  • **Achieving Results:** Demonstrated success in meeting individual and organizational goals, aligning outcomes with strategic objectives.
  • Note: If you are a current SES member, OPM-certified SES Candidate Development Program (SESCDP) graduate, or have SES reinstatement eligibility, you are exempt from providing detailed ECQ narratives but must attach proof of eligibility (e.g., SF-50, QRB certification).*
