Summary

Lead strategic human resources, directing comprehensive programs and policies as a Chief HR Officer in a public service environment.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to lead and transform our human capital initiatives. This executive leadership role requires a commitment to public service and proven expertise in managing complex, large-scale HR programs.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Direct and oversee comprehensive, multi-functional HR programs, ensuring alignment with organizational missions.
  • Develop and implement strategic HR policies and initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to address critical organizational challenges, inform complex policy decisions, and optimize resource allocation impacting agency-wide operations.
  • Drive a culture of high performance and accountability, inspiring teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strategically manage resources and budgets, pursuing continuous improvement through process and technological advancements.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Extensive experience directing geographically widespread HR programs and developing impactful HR policies/initiatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of contemporary human resource management, including federal personnel laws, regulations, and relevant HR program metrics.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders on complex organizational issues and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies (Executive Core Qualifications - ECQs) encompassing commitment to public service, driving efficiency, technical excellence, leading people, and achieving results.
