Summary

Shape federal policy and budget as a Senior Executive, leading teams and managing complex government initiatives.

Seeking a highly qualified Senior Executive to drive federal policy, budget, and program analysis, ensuring efficiency and effective leadership within the government.

  • *Technical Qualifications (TQs):**
  • **Senior-Level Analysis:** Expertise in budget, program, and policy analysis, utilizing quantitative techniques to inform Presidential decisions.
  • **Stakeholder Management:** Experience navigating complex interagency environments, collaborating with senior officials, the National Security Council (NSC), and Congressional stakeholders to resolve issues and develop resource-informed policies.
  • **Team Leadership:** Proven ability or potential to lead professional staff and teams, achieving timely, effective, and high-quality results.
  • **Effective Communication:** Communicate complex policy matters concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing, to senior officials, especially under tight deadlines.
  • **DOW O&M Knowledge:** Demonstrated knowledge of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) funding and programs within the Department of War.
  • *Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) - *For new SES entrants without prior certification***:
  • **Rule of Law & Founding Principles:** Knowledge of the American government, commitment to the Constitution, rule of law, and public service.
  • **Driving Efficiency:** Strategically manage resources, budget effectively, cut wasteful spending, and pursue efficiency through process and technological upgrades.
  • **Merit & Competence:** Deliver exceptional, high-quality work with demonstrated technical expertise and reliability.
  • **Leading People:** Inspire and lead teams towards organizational vision, mission, and goals, fostering a high-performance, high-accountability culture, and managing change.
  • **Achieving Results:** Consistently deliver individual and organizational results, aligning outcomes with strategic objectives.
  • *Note for Current SES / SESCDP Certified Candidates:** If you are a current SES member, OPM-certified SESCDP graduate, or have SES reinstatement eligibility, you do not need to address the ECQs. Instead, provide proof of your eligibility (e.g., SF-50, OPM QRB certification).
