Summary

Senior Executive to lead federal policy/budget analysis, manage stakeholders, and drive government efficiency.

This Senior Executive Service role seeks a visionary leader passionate about enhancing federal government efficiency and upholding the U.S. Constitution. You will drive critical policy and budget decisions, navigate complex stakeholder relations, and lead high-performing teams to achieve significant national results.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct senior-level budget, program, and policy analysis, utilizing advanced quantitative methods.
  • Develop pivotal judgments and recommendations that inform Presidential decisions on diverse policy matters.
  • Lead and manage complex stakeholder engagements across interagency, National Security Council (NSC), and Congressional entities.
  • Resolve intricate policy issues and formulate resource-informed strategies and goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage professional staff to deliver timely, effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing, to senior policy officials, often under tight deadlines.
  • Strategically manage resources, budget effectively, identify wasteful spending, and implement efficiency improvements through process and technological upgrades.
  • Foster a high-performance, high-accountability team culture, guiding individuals through change as needed.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Senior-level experience in budget, program, and policy analysis with demonstrated quantitative proficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and work with senior interagency and external officials.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing professional staff to achieve organizational goals.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills for senior-level policy discussions, particularly in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and/or military construction (MILCON) funding and programs within the Department of War (DOW) and/or National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
  • Commitment to the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution, and the principles of American governance.
  • Strategic mindset for driving efficiency, effectively managing resources, and achieving high-quality individual and organizational results.
  • Ability to lead people, inspire groups toward organizational vision, and align results to stated goals.
