Business Development Specialist - Litigation

WilmerHale seeks a Business Development Specialist to support the Litigation Department's marketing and business development initiatives. This role collaborates closely with Business Development Managers to execute strategic plans, enhance market visibility, and drive new business opportunities within a leading international law firm.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare sophisticated pitch materials and respond to client RFPs.
• Coordinate firm-hosted programs, webinars, and client receptions; manage sponsorships.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis, providing actionable insights to attorneys.
• Contribute to market recognition efforts, including managing legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers USA, Legal 500).
• Manage and update firm experience database (Foundation) and contact management system (InterAction).
• Support marketing communications, including website updates and attorney online profiles.
• Track and report on Litigation Department business development activities and successes.
• Perform special projects as requested by Clients & Markets leadership.
• *Qualifications & Skills:**
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a legal or professional services marketing/business development role preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in a dynamic environment with high expectations for client service, attention to detail, and quality.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Proven research skills and reasoning ability to translate data into succinct, useful deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
