Summary
Lead litigation business development, driving revenue growth, strategic marketing, and client relationships for a national law firm.
- *Business Development Manager (Litigation)**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans with practice group leaders.
- Identify and secure new client prospecting opportunities and expand existing relationships.
- Supervise and mentor Business Development Specialists.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform strategies and anticipate client needs.
- Create compelling marketing materials, pitches, presentations, and proposals.
- Manage client development events, seminars, and conferences from concept to execution.
- Identify and leverage speaking, sponsorship, and membership opportunities for visibility.
- Facilitate lateral partner integration and strategic communication of expertise.
- Contribute to legal directory submissions, client alerts, and social media content.
- Collaborate with internal teams on content and communication strategies.
- *Qualifications:**
- 5-8 years of marketing or business development experience, with at least 3 years in a management role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to strategize, plan, and execute successful events and webinars.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, client service focus, and project management capabilities.
- Creative, results-oriented, and adept at identifying industry trends.
- Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize responsibilities, and meet varying deadlines.
- *Location:** Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Melville, NY; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC (Hybrid Work Schedule)
- *Salary Range:** Anticipated annual salary range of $118,000 - $192,500, dependent on location and experience.
