Summary
Serve as a financial SME, analyzing business cycles, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring financial statement auditability and readiness.
Join our team as a Business Cycle Integration Analyst (Financial) to become a subject matter expert in critical financial sub-processes. You will be instrumental in strengthening internal controls, driving audit readiness, and ensuring the auditability of financial statements.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for General Equipment, Environmental Liabilities, and Real Property financial sub-processes, evaluating end-to-end processes and internal controls.
- Guide managers in identifying key controls, facilitating discussions on audit findings, and developing corrective action plans.
- Ensure Process Cycle Memorandums (PCMs) are well-documented, maintained, and compliant with applicable policies.
- Support audit responses to Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and implement corrective actions.
- Advise management on requirements and actions needed to achieve annual financial statement auditability.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Control program, linking it to Audit Readiness.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service or private sector. This experience must demonstrate:
