Business Analyst (With Strategic Communications Experience) Active Ts/Sci Required

As a Business Analyst within a Product Team, you will be integral in delivering mission-critical IT software products that meet customer needs and align with business goals in an Agile and DevSecOps environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Analyze business needs and translate them into actionable product backlog items.
• Assist in prioritizing, estimating, and managing the product backlog (Epics, Features, User Stories).
• Support the creation and management of product roadmaps, artifacts, and knowledge bases.
• Facilitate product team-level ceremonies (e.g., stand-up, sprint planning).
• Identify, map, and track dependencies internal and external to the product team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development and delivery.
• Manage risks and dependencies effectively within a software development context.
• Analyze team and product performance using data-driven insights.
• Utilize product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and M365.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of related experience, with 2-4 years specifically in agile software product delivery or direct support of a software development team.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required; must be able to obtain a DHS EOD.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to work on-site at a client SCIF in Washington D.C.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
• Experience with Government risk management frameworks (RMF) and cybersecurity authorization processes.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• *Salary Range:** $85,000 - $115,000, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
