Summary

Oversee Federal building services, managing operations, staff, contracts, and budgets to ensure facility efficiency and compliance.

Join our team as a Building Services Manager, overseeing critical facility operations within the Federal government. We are seeking professionals with proven experience in managing building services, staff, and resources.

  • *General Qualifications:**
  • Meet United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualification standards by the closing date.
  • Specialized experience must be clearly detailed in your resume.
  • *GS-12 Requirements (Equivalent to GS-11 Federal Service Experience):**
  • Manage or coordinate building services programs (work orders, inspections, tenant requests).
  • Utilize Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) for work order and service request tracking.
  • Supervise staff or contractors providing building support services.
  • Apply policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety, budget, and performance standards.
  • *GS-13 Requirements (Equivalent to GS-12 Federal Service Experience):**
  • Oversee comprehensive building services across multiple functions (e.g., maintenance, inspections, emergency response).
  • Supervise subordinate supervisors and staff, including union employees.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and resources to deliver building service programs effectively.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and program manager to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations.
