Lead DoD financial management, overseeing budget formulation, execution, and policy interpretation, requiring Level 3 certification.
Join our team as a senior Financial Management professional, contributing to high-level budget formulation, execution, and legislative financial policy within the Department of Defense.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
- Expertise in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
- Familiarity with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Congressional budget processes.
- Applying legislative and policy guidance to budget programs.
- Financial experience in one or more of: Military Personnel, Operation & Maintenance, Acquisition (Procurement, RDT&E), Military Construction, or Family Housing.
- **For GS-15 candidates:**
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **DoD Financial Management Certification:** Obtain Level 3 certification within two years of entry.
- **Time-in-Grade (Federal Applicants):**
- **Specialized Experience:**
- **Competencies:** Demonstrated ability in Budget Execution, Budget Concepts, Policies, Principles, and Financial Management.
