Job Description
Summary
Lead budget analysis, policy development, and financial negotiations for global security cooperation and foreign military sales programs.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional for a GS-13 level position. To qualify, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, including:
- Analyzing, revising, and recommending approvals or adjustments to budget requests and reprogramming actions related to global security cooperation/assistance or foreign military sales.
- Negotiating with management to accept and implement budgetary recommendations.
- Developing, advising on, and briefing budgetary policies and programs to managers and senior leadership.
- Conducting extensive analysis of budgetary guidelines, policies, legislation, and regulations to develop recommendations for unplanned/unfunded requirements and funding adjustments.
