Summary

General Attorney needed for U.S. International Trade Commission, specializing in unfair import investigations.

We are seeking a General Attorney (GS-14/15) to join the Office of Unfair Import Investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission. This role requires specialized legal expertise in import investigations and general law practice.

  • *Key Requirements:**
  • **Education:** Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school.
  • **Bar Membership:** Active member in good standing of the Bar of a U.S. state, territory, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • **Experience:**
* **For GS-14 Level:** Minimum of four (4) years of legal experience, which includes: * At least one (1) year demonstrating engagement in general law practices or applying legal theories and principles. * At least three (3) years of specialized professional legal experience directly relevant to unfair import investigations for the U.S. International Trade Commission. * **For GS-15 Level:** Minimum of five (5) years of legal experience, which includes: * At least one (1) year demonstrating engagement in general law practices or applying legal theories and principles. * At least four (4) years of specialized professional legal experience directly relevant to unfair import investigations for the U.S. International Trade Commission.
