Attorney - Advisor (General)

We are seeking highly qualified Attorneys specializing in employment law, EEO, and ethics/compliance. This role involves providing expert legal counsel and representation across various levels of responsibility.

• *Key Responsibilities may include:**
• Conducting complex legal analysis and drafting legal documents.
• Analyzing and evaluating intricate legal issues.
• Providing legal advice and recommendations, including to senior leadership.
• Developing and recommending policies.
• Performing thorough legal research.
• Managing and handling litigation matters.
• *Qualifications:**
• *Minimum Requirements:**
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.B. degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school (or equivalent training).
• Active membership in good standing of the bar of a U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• *Applicants must submit a copy of transcripts with degree conferred date and proof of active bar membership with their application.*
• *Specialized Experience (Post-JD):**
• **GS-13 Level:** Minimum two (2) years of professional legal experience, including at least one (1) year of specialized experience conducting complex legal analysis and drafting legal documents.
• **GS-14 Level:** Minimum three (3) years of professional legal experience, including at least one (1) year of specialized experience making policy recommendations, analyzing complex legal issues, and advising senior leadership.
• **GS-15 Level:** Minimum four (4) years of professional legal experience, including at least one (1) year of specialized experience providing complex legal advice, performing legal research, drafting legal documents, and handling litigation.
• *All specialized experience must be in one or more of the following practice areas:** employment laws/personnel laws, equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, and/or ethics and compliance.
• *Note on Experience:** All qualifying experience, including paid and unpaid (volunteer) work, will be credited.
