Seeking an Attorney Advisor to litigate federal employment/labor cases and provide expert legal counsel to agency management.
Join our legal team as an Attorney Advisor specializing in federal employment and labor law. We seek a skilled professional to represent the Agency in complex litigation and provide expert legal counsel.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as lead attorney in federal administrative and court litigation, managing witness preparation, depositions, discovery, and trial strategies.
- Provide expert legal advice to management on federal employment law (Title V, EEO Title VII), employee performance, and conduct issues.
- Represent and advise the Agency on collective bargaining and federal labor relations matters.
- Manage complex legal tasks independently, working collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Develop innovative legal solutions with a customer-service oriented approach.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.B. degree.
- **Licensure:** Active member of the bar in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).
- **Experience:**
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience delivering training sessions on employment and labor law.
- Advising Senior Agency Officials on litigation risk and settlement options.
- Mentoring junior attorneys and professional staff.
