Provide administrative, ethics, and education legal counsel to DoDEA leadership, supporting global military family education.
Associate General Counsel - Administrative Law Division, HQ - DoDEA
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Office of General Counsel is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its Administrative Law Division. This vital role provides comprehensive legal services to support DoDEA's mission of delivering world-class education to military families worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel in administrative law, ethics, and education law.
- Advise the DoDEA Director and leadership team on complex legal matters.
- Support the operation of accredited schools for military dependents globally.
Qualifications:
- **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- **Experience:** Minimum of three (3) years of professional legal experience, acquired after bar admission. (Graduation from an ABA-Accredited Law School in the top 25% or an LLM may substitute for one year of experience.)
- **Bar Membership:** Current member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. State, Territory, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
