Job Description

Summary

Seeking an Attorney Advisor with a J.D./LL.B., active bar membership, and 1+ year experience reviewing filings and drafting legal documents.

The Attorney Advisor will apply legal expertise to ensure compliance, review filings, and develop critical legal documents.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Monitor and examine formal filings for legal sufficiency.
  • Review submissions from party representatives for procedural compliance.
  • Develop and prepare interpretive and administrative documents under relevant statutes and regulations.
  • *Minimum Requirements:**
  • **Education:** Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
  • **Licensure:** Active member of the bar, licensed to practice law in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
  • **Experience (GS-12 Level):** One year of post-J.D. or LL.B. professional legal experience, which must include:
* Monitoring legal filings and ensuring procedural requirements are met. * Drafting interpretive and administrative legal documents.
  • **Writing Sample:** Submission of a writing sample (maximum 7 pages) demonstrating legal authorship ability is required.
