Summary
Seeking an Attorney Advisor with federal employment/labor law expertise to represent the agency in litigation and provide legal counsel.
We are seeking a highly qualified Attorney Advisor to provide expert legal counsel and representation in complex federal legal matters. This role involves extensive litigation, labor relations, and employment law advisory work within a federal agency.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Represent the Agency in federal litigation (administrative and/or court proceedings), often serving as lead attorney.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including witness preparation, depositions, discovery, affidavits, trial strategies, direct/cross-examination, and motion practice.
- Advise and represent the agency in collective bargaining and federal labor relations matters.
- Counsel management officials on legal issues related to employee performance and conduct.
- Apply significant knowledge of federal employment law (Title V, EEO Title VII) and federal labor law and procedures.
- Independently manage complex legal tasks and litigation with minimal supervision.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Demonstrate a customer-service oriented approach and innovative problem-solving skills.
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Must possess a LL.B. or J.D. degree.
- **Licensure:** Active member of the bar in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction), duly licensed to practice law. (Applicants must provide the month/year of first license and issuing State).
- **Experience (Post-J.D. or equivalent legal/relevant experience):**
