Attorney-Adviser (General)

Join our team as an Attorney-Adviser (General) GS-0905-15, providing expert legal counsel on complex labor and employment law matters within a federal agency.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide authoritative legal advice on a broad range of complex labor and employment law issues.
• Manage and provide counsel on EEO, MSPB, FLRA, arbitration, and Federal court litigation.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, analysis, and risk assessment to develop effective solutions.
• Interact effectively with senior officials on controversial and sensitive legal matters.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• First professional law degree (J.D. or LLB).
• Active bar membership in good standing with a U.S. state, commonwealth, territory, or the District of Columbia. (Proof required within 6 months of application).
• Minimum 3 years of professional legal experience, with substantial focus on labor and employment law.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge in EEO, MSPB, FLRA, arbitration, and Federal court litigation.
• Exceptional analytical, legal research, problem-solving, and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Strong legal and business judgment, along with excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
