Summary
Seeking an experienced Attorney-Adviser with 3+ years in labor and employment law, requiring active bar membership and Secret clearance.
Join our team as an Attorney-Adviser (General) GS-0905-15, providing expert legal counsel on complex labor and employment law matters within a federal agency.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide authoritative legal advice on a broad range of complex labor and employment law issues.
- Manage and provide counsel on EEO, MSPB, FLRA, arbitration, and Federal court litigation.
- Conduct in-depth legal research, analysis, and risk assessment to develop effective solutions.
- Interact effectively with senior officials on controversial and sensitive legal matters.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- First professional law degree (J.D. or LLB).
- Active bar membership in good standing with a U.S. state, commonwealth, territory, or the District of Columbia. (Proof required within 6 months of application).
- Minimum 3 years of professional legal experience, with substantial focus on labor and employment law.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge in EEO, MSPB, FLRA, arbitration, and Federal court litigation.
- Exceptional analytical, legal research, problem-solving, and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Strong legal and business judgment, along with excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
