Summary
Seeking an experienced U.S. Citizen Attorney to provide legal counsel, research complex issues, and manage caseloads for the Department of Army.
## Attorney (GS-14 Equivalent)
Join the Department of Army as an Attorney, providing expert legal counsel and managing a dynamic caseload within a federal environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research highly technical and complex legal issues.
- Provide comprehensive legal, technical, and policy guidance.
- Ethically and professionally manage a substantial caseload with complex client needs.
- **U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.**
- **Education:** Possession of a first professional law degree (J.D. or LL.B.) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school.
- **Bar Membership:** Active membership in good standing with the bar of the highest court of a U.S. State, Commonwealth, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
- **Experience (GS-14):** A minimum of two (2) years of professional legal experience acquired *after* bar admission.
### Additional Information:
- Veterans' preference eligibility is considered a positive factor for attorney hiring in the excepted service.
