Asst Front End Manager-Mclean

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Customer Service Leadership:** Champion and deliver outstanding customer service, resolve complaints positively, and promote a personalized shopping experience.
• **Front-End Management:** Direct and supervise all front-end activities, including monitoring customer traffic, coordinating service programs, and ensuring the area's cleanliness, safety, and positive appearance.
• **Operational Efficiency:** Oversee cash register functions, manage front-end supplies and merchandise ordering, and serve as an overflow cashier as needed.
• **Team Supervision:** Guide and supervise front-end associates, assist with checking duties, and contribute to hiring and disciplinary decisions.
• *What We're Looking For:**
• **Leadership & Communication:** Strong leadership, communication, team-building, and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• **Customer Focus:** A positive attitude with the ability to project an excellent image to the public.
• **Technical Proficiency:** Ability to operate and troubleshoot PC and check stand equipment, including printers, scales, scanners, and cash registers.
• **Operational Knowledge:** Understanding of front-end policies, procedures, basic employment law, interviewing techniques, and administrative details like planning and scheduling.
• **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift and maneuver objects up to 55 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and move quickly.
• **Analytical Skills:** Mental alertness and analytical ability to react to business activity and ensure accurate work completion.
• **Foundational Skills:** Knowledge of basic mathematics, weights and measures, product variety, perishability, safety, and sanitation procedures.
