Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business is seeking an Associate Director of Content Marketing to drive strategic content planning and execution. This pivotal role will elevate the school's digital footprint and brand through compelling content that engages prospective students, donors, employers, and partners.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with school goals, including student and employer recruitment, alumni and donor relations.
- Collaborate across departments and with external agencies to produce high-quality, consistent content across various platforms (e.g., blogs, videos, infographics, website, social media, email campaigns, paid advertising).
- Edit and proofread website content, optimizing for SEO and user experience.
- Analyze content performance using metrics and analytics tools to make data-driven decisions and optimize effectiveness.
- Generate ideas and gather feedback to increase audience engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to continuously refine content strategy.
- *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Technologies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrably successful content marketing campaign experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with adherence to editorial guidelines.
- Proficiency in content metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz).
- Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress), and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Demonstrated understanding of graphic design concepts; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; experience with Monday.com or Wrike beneficial.
- Familiarity with web accessibility and ADA requirements.
- *Reporting Structure:** Reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications.
- *Work Mode:** Hybrid.
- *Salary Range:** $47,586.00 - $87,558.13
