Job Description

Summary

Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations, driving innovation and resilience as a Senior Executive.

We are seeking a highly qualified Director for Analysis to lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives as a Senior Executive. This pivotal role requires an experienced leader to drive strategy, governance, and operations across a large, complex federal department.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and execute comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity strategies, aligning with mission objectives and balancing compliance with innovation.
  • **Governance & Risk Management:** Design and lead robust governance structures to ensure accountability, compliance with federal mandates, and effective cybersecurity risk management.
  • **Operational Oversight:** Oversee and manage enterprise-wide cybersecurity operations, including resource allocation, contracts, staff, incident response, monitoring, and strengthening organizational resilience.
  • **External Representation & Innovation:** Represent the department externally on cybersecurity issues, drive innovation, adopt emerging technologies, and lead organizational transformation.
  • **Executive Management:** Direct organizational units, account for program success, monitor goal progress, supervise employees, and exercise significant policy-making functions.
  • *Qualifications & Experience:**
  • Proven experience at or above the GS-15 grade level (or equivalent in public/private sector) in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the American system of government and commitment to the Rule of Law.
  • **Driving Efficiency:** Strategic resource management, budget effectiveness, and leveraging technology for process improvements.
  • **Merit & Competence:** Exceptional technical skill, problem-solving abilities, agility, and resilience.
  • **Leading People:** Ability to inspire and lead teams, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure accountability.
  • **Achieving Results:** Proven track record of delivering individual and organizational results aligned with strategic goals.
