Assistive Technology Engineer - Mid To Experienced Level (Maryland)

This role seeks professionals for the design and engineering of assistive technology, with two distinct entry levels based on experience.

• *General Requirements:**
• Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM technical field.
• *Full Performance Level:**
• **Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant experience, or * Master's degree + 1 year relevant experience, or * Doctoral degree with no experience.

• **Relevant Experience Focus:** Design and engineering of assistive technology. Some experience in employment support for people with disabilities (e.g., group homes, school systems) is beneficial.
• *Senior Level:**
• **Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree + 7 years relevant experience, or * Master's degree + 5 years relevant experience, or * Doctoral degree + 3 years relevant experience.

• **Relevant Experience Focus:** Both design/engineering of assistive technology and experience in employment support for people with disabilities (e.g., group homes, school systems).
