Assistant United States Attorney (Ausa)

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent.
• Active member in good standing of the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three years of post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
• United States citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive prosecutorial experience, including complex investigations, substantive legal writing, and multiple jury trials.
• Judicial clerkship experience.
• Experience as a federal prosecutor.
• Demonstrated commitment to public service and the rule of law.
• Exceptional moral character, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.
• Superior communication, advocacy, research, and writing skills.
• Proven ability in thorough legal and factual analysis.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with minimal guidance in a high-demand environment.
