Summary

Seeking an SES leader for federal administrative and financial management, driving efficiency and upholding governance within strict policy frameworks.

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive Service (SES) professional passionate about improving Federal government efficiency and upholding American foundational principles. This critical role involves strategic leadership in administrative and financial management programs.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Drive efficiency through strategic resource and budget management, eliminating wasteful spending, and process reengineering.
  • Apply executive-level guidance on administrative practices, budget planning, programming, and execution.
  • Manage federal legislative and regulatory policies impacting human resources, contracting, logistical systems, and audit processes.
  • Lead the strategic planning, development, acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of diverse administrative and management programs.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • *Technical Qualifications (TQs):**
  • Executive-level experience applying guidelines in administrative practices, budget planning/execution, and business process reengineering.
  • Extensive, in-depth knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory policies governing human resources, contracting, logistics, and audit processes.
  • *Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs):**
(Note: SES members or those with OPM-approved SESCDP certification may be exempt and should provide proof of eligibility.)
  • **Commitment to the Rule of Law and American Founding Principles:** Demonstrated knowledge of government, commitment to the Constitution and serving the public.
  • **Driving Efficiency:** Proven ability to strategically manage resources, budget effectively, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency through process/technology upgrades.
  • **Merit and Competence:** Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work and maintain technical competence.
  • **Leading People:** Ability to inspire and lead teams, foster a high-performance, high-accountability culture, and manage change effectively.
  • **Achieving Results:** Proven ability to achieve individual and organizational goals, aligning efforts with superior objectives.
  • *Special Requirement:**
  • Obtain DoD Financial Management Level 3 certification within two years of appointment and maintain proficiency.
