Architect

We are seeking a skilled Architect to design and manage architectural projects, primarily within healthcare facilities. This role involves critical design work, project evaluation, documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance using advanced design systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design healthcare departments within Medical Treatment Facilities.
• Evaluate design project requests and define scope.
• Prepare comprehensive design and construction documents.
• Review designs to ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Generate electronic drawings and designs utilizing automated design systems.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• *Basic Requirement (Meet one of the following):**
• **Degree:** Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field, including 60 semester hours in architecture/related disciplines (30 in architectural design, 6 each in structural technology, properties of materials, methods of construction, and environmental control systems).
• **Combination of Education & Experience:** College-level education, training, and/or technical experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of professional architectural principles and methods, *plus* one of the following:

* Degree in Architectural Engineering with coursework substantially equivalent to the architectural degree requirements. * Practical Experience: 1 year of experience in an architect's office or architectural work for each year short of graduation, or 5 years of such experience if no college courses, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of architectural fundamentals.

• *Specialized Experience:**
• One year of experience designing healthcare departments within Medical Treatment Facilities; evaluating design project requests; preparing design documents; reviewing designs for regulatory compliance; and generating electronic drawings/designs utilizing automated design systems.
