Applied Research Mathematician/Mathematical Statistician - Entry to Experienced Level

This role focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex problems. **Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field. * **Advanced Math Coursework:** Requires a minimum of 24 semester (or 36 quarter) credit hours in advanced mathematics. **Relevant Experience Areas:** * Design, development, use, and evaluation of mathematical models, methods, or techniques (e.g., algorithm development). * Experience in network engineering, computer science, physics, software engineering, or electrical engineering is also relevant. **Experience Levels:** * **Entry/Developmental:** Bachelor's degree with no prior experience. * **Full Performance:** Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant experience, OR Master's degree + 1 year relevant experience, OR Doctoral degree (no experience required).
