Applied Research Mathematician/Mathematical Statistician - Entry To Experienced Level

This role focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex problems.

• *Qualifications:**
• **Education:** Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• **Advanced Math Coursework:** Requires a minimum of 24 semester (or 36 quarter) credit hours in advanced mathematics.
• *Relevant Experience Areas:**
• Design, development, use, and evaluation of mathematical models, methods, or techniques (e.g., algorithm development).
• Experience in network engineering, computer science, physics, software engineering, or electrical engineering is also relevant.
• *Experience Levels:**
• **Entry/Developmental:** Bachelor's degree with no prior experience.
• **Full Performance:** Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant experience, or Master's degree + 1 year relevant experience, or Doctoral degree (no experience required).
