This role is for a seasoned investigator specializing in administrative conduct within the federal service. You will lead comprehensive inquiries into allegations of employee misconduct, ensuring thorough analysis and clear reporting.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct administrative investigations and inquiries into allegations of federal civilian employee misconduct.
- Develop detailed investigation plans and meticulously track case progression.
- Identify and interview witnesses, crafting effective interrogatories.
- Evaluate and weigh evidence against established conduct standards to determine findings.
- Prepare comprehensive investigation reports, detailing analysis, findings, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
- *Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service, directly conducting administrative investigations into employee misconduct. This includes developing plans, identifying witnesses, evaluating evidence, and preparing investigation reports.
- **No Education Substitution:** This position requires direct experience; education cannot be substituted for the required specialized experience.
- **Time in Grade (Federal Applicants):** If you are a current federal employee, you must have completed 52 weeks of service at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) within the last year.
