Air Traffic Control Specialist (Staff Support Specialist)

## Minimum Qualifications: Specialized FAA Experience Required

Candidates must demonstrate specialized experience in one of the following areas:

• **FAA Leadership:** Held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 (or higher) regional or headquarters position for at least one year.
• **Air Traffic Services (ATS) Certification:** Facility-rated or area-certified for at least one year at an ATS facility.

* *Note:* Employees rated/certified at an ATS facility that is upgraded are considered qualified for the upgraded position.

• **Management Support Specialist (MSS):** Held an MSS position for at least one year in an ATS facility.

* *Note:* No restrictions apply for MSS vacancies at facilities with three or fewer MSS levels. Qualification for specific career levels will be determined by the MSS positions chart.

• *Important:** All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Candidates will also be rated based on FAA Form 3330-43-1, "Rating of Air Traffic Experience for at Movement."
