Air Traffic Control Specialist (Staff Support Specialist)

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience in one of the following areas:

• *Required Specialized Experience:**
• **FAA Leadership/Headquarters:** Held an FAA 2152-FG-14 (or higher) position at a regional or headquarters level.
• **Air Traffic Specialist (ATS):** Been facility rated or area certified at an Air Traffic Specialist (ATS) facility.

* *Note:* Employees who were facility rated or area certified at an ATS facility that was later upgraded are considered qualified for the upgraded position.

• **Management Staff Support (MSS):** Held an MSS position in an ATS facility.

* *Note:* There are no application restrictions for MSS vacancies at facilities with three or fewer MSS levels. Specific career level qualifications for MSS positions will be determined by an additional chart.
