Summary

Seeking an Engineer to assess aircraft propulsion system airworthiness, safety, and emerging technology solutions.

## Engineer - Aircraft Propulsion Systems

Join our team as an Engineer, specializing in aircraft propulsion systems, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of advanced aviation technologies.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend solutions for issues related to emerging technologies.
  • Conduct airworthiness and safety assessments for aircraft propulsion systems.
### Qualifications:

  • *Education:**
  • **Bachelor's Degree in Engineering:** From an ABET-accredited program, including differential and integral calculus, and advanced courses in at least five engineering science areas (e.g., statics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical fields, materials science).
  • **or Combination of Education & Experience:** Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences, evidenced by one of the following:
* Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration. * Successful completion of the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) examination. * At least 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences, acceptable toward a professional engineering curriculum. * A Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a related professional field (e.g., physics, computer science) *plus* at least one year of professional engineering experience under supervision.

  • *Experience:**
  • Minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower Federal government grade (FV-I FG/GS-13). This experience must include:
* Identifying and recommending solutions to address issues with emerging technologies. * Experience with airworthiness and safety assessments of aircraft propulsion systems.
