Summary
Manage ordnance inventory operations, ensuring material availability and weapons systems readiness with GS-11/12 level experience.
We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and optimize ordnance inventory operations. This role is crucial for ensuring material availability and weapons system readiness.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze and resolve complex issues across all inventory management operations, including planning, shipping, transport, receiving, storage, and packing.
- Ensure robust material management and accountability for ordnance inventory.
- Drive improvements in material availability and overall weapons systems readiness.
- *Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11/12 (NT-04) level in federal service or equivalent public/private sector roles.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and resolving inventory management issues, specifically related to ordnance.
- Proven ability to ensure material management, accountability, and improve availability/readiness.
- Relevant paid and unpaid (volunteer) experience is considered.
- *Important Note:**
- This position is subject to government-wide and Department of Defense hiring freezes. Employment offers will not be executed until an approved exemption is obtained.
