Summary
Seeking a skilled Accountant to manage end-to-end audit processes, coordinate implementations, and provide expert advisory services.
We are seeking a highly qualified Accountant to manage audit processes and provide expert advisory services. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and audit functions.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
- Managing end-to-end audit processes related to integration efforts.
- Coordinating with stakeholders on implementing audit-compliant processes.
- Providing expert advisory services on audit functions.
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
- *Education & Background (Choose ONE of the following):**
- **Option A: Education:** Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Public Administration, including or supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours of business law may count). Transcripts required.
- **Option B: Combination:** At least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. Transcripts required.
- *and**
- *Must also include ONE of the following:**
- 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing courses (up to 6 hours of business law may count).
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certificate obtained through written examination.
- Completion of a degree with substantial coursework in accounting/auditing (e.g., 15 semester hours), plus successful full-performance level work in accounting, auditing, or a related field, and a panel determination of comprehensive accounting knowledge.
- *Specialized Experience (GS-13 Level):**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service or comparable experience in the military or private sector, directly related to the responsibilities listed above.
