## UX Designer and Strategist

Are you ready to transform user interaction with web applications? We are seeking a creative and experienced UX Designer and Strategist to lead user experience initiatives, ensuring designs meet user needs and client vision.

### About the Role

As a UX Strategist, you will:

  • Guide UX designers and product managers, translating client visions and user needs.
  • Lead Agile teams, converting research into actionable user insights.
  • Oversee the complete digital creative process: user research, information architecture, rapid prototyping, interface design, usability testing, and product implementation.
  • Advocate for design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, prioritizing the end-user.
### Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in web design.
  • Proficiency in producing low to high-fidelity, interactive mockups.
  • Experience developing and maintaining roadmaps and UX testing schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile environment and designing systems (e.g., USWDS, component-based design).
  • Ability to elicit business requirements from stakeholders, develop user stories, and interpret customer feedback from diverse sources.
  • Extensive experience with UX research methods and deliverables, including conducting user testing (usability, card sorting, A/B testing).
  • Ability to drive UX strategic change within a Federal Agency.
  • Strong collaborative skills to influence, mobilize, and energize cross-functional teams.
  • Eligibility for Public Trust.
  • Bachelor's degree.
### Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Angular or front-end development.
  • Prior support for large-scale, public-facing web design efforts.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and tracking design trends.
  • Background in UX strategy, content strategy, product management, service design, or UX copywriting.
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, reviews, and workshops.
  • Strong communication skills.
