Supervisory Security Guard

This role involves overseeing security operations to protect property and personnel.

• *Key Responsibilities & Requirements:**
• Supervise and guide teams in protecting property against hazards such as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass.
• Maintain order and ensure the safety and protection of life.
• Utilize investigative techniques and effectively write detailed reports.
• *Medical Requirements:**
• Good near and distant vision.
• Ability to distinguish basic colors.
• Ability to hear the conversational voice.
• *Specialized Experience (GS-11):**
• One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level (or equivalent) in a role involving:

* Supervising property protection against various hazards. * Maintaining order and protecting life. * Using investigative techniques and writing reports.

• *Note:** Competition for Security Guard positions is restricted by law to persons entitled to veterans' preference, as long as such applicants are available for appointment.
