Software Engineer, Front End

Join a team of innovative Software Engineers to develop cutting-edge Front End applications. This role focuses on leveraging modern open-source frameworks and emerging technologies to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **Responsibilities:** * Develop Front End applications using a test-driven development (TDD) approach. * Own technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform systems. * Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions. * Mentor peers and stay current with tech trends, actively participating in engineering communities. * Work with distributed microservices and full-stack systems. **Key Technologies:** * JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Java. * Open-source frameworks, RESTful web services. * Cross-browser and cross-device development. **Qualifications:** * **Basic:** * Bachelor’s Degree. * At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience. * **Preferred:** * 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java. * 1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services. * 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks. * 2+ years of experience with Agile practices. **Important Note:** Capital One will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization or offer immigration-related support for this position.
