**About the Role:**
This role is pivotal in supporting the communication needs of various Retail Bank organizations. You'll translate complex information into accessible content, working collaboratively with communication managers and stakeholders, including executives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with communication managers to develop diverse written materials, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
* Lead end-to-end production of monthly newsletters and weekly Slack newsletters.
* Write and publish internal intranet articles highlighting key initiatives and projects.
* Develop content for seasonal communication campaigns (e.g., Associate Appreciation Week, promotions).
* Support sensitive announcements, such as team structure changes.
* Manage and maintain accurate distribution lists for targeted communication.
* Track communication metrics, analyze performance, and recommend improvements.
* Build efficient processes to foster seamless stakeholder collaboration.
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
* Bachelor's degree or military experience.
* At least 2 years of experience in internal communications, journalism, or mass communications.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information.
* Exceptional time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects effectively.
* Proven ability to communicate verbally with executives, adapting messaging as needed.
* Lively and approachable writing style; strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.
* Keen eye for detail, committed to producing high-quality, error-free content.
* Proactive and adaptable approach; strong customer-orientation and collaborative work relationships.
**Preferred:**
* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or Journalism.
* 3+ years of experience in an internal communications role.
* Experience in the financial services industry.
**Additional Information:**
* **Location/Salary:** McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400; Richmond, VA: $78,400 - $89,500.
