Senior UX/UI Designer (AI)

GEICO is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive user experiences, with a strong focus on integrating Generative AI solutions. This role requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and data science teams to deliver human-centered design solutions and advocate for ethical AI in products.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business, data science) to define customer and business needs.
• Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging product experiences, integrating Generative AI responsibly.
• Advocate for the user through human-centered design methods, including research, discovery, and user testing.
• Develop design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and UI specifications.
• Manage shifting priorities, provide design direction, and support early product definition.
• Deliver design assets for development and market release in partnership with engineering.
• *Qualifications:**
• *Required:**
• 5+ years of User Experience (UX) design experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
• 2+ years experience with Generative AI, virtual agent, or similar products.
• Ability to work effectively across design processes (user research, UX, UI).
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma).
• *Preferred:**
• Experience designing for cross-channel platforms (responsive web, native mobile).
• Collaborative experience with AI/ML and Data Science teams.
• Familiarity with multi-modal Generative AI platforms and established design systems.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.

• **Type:** Hybrid role requiring 3 days/week on-site at Chevy Chase, MD; Chicago, IL; San Jose, CA; Fredericksburg, VA; or Seattle, WA. Exceptional remote candidates considered.
• **Salary Range:** $104,550 - $172,200 annually (final offer based on experience, education, location, and market factors).
