Summary

Lead web design, development, and digital strategy, optimizing multiple websites and user experiences for ADEA.

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) seeks an experienced **Senior Manager, Web Design and Development** to lead and enhance its digital presence. This role combines web design expertise with front-end development skills to manage and optimize user-friendly web pages, contributing to broader digital strategy and ensuring website effectiveness across multiple platforms.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Manage and optimize daily front-end operations for multiple ADEA websites (adea.org, adea.org/godental, adea.org/adeagiesfoundation).
  • Design and develop new content, creating responsive layouts, landing pages, and interactive digital assets aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure website performance by maintaining web standards, UX best practices, and continuous testing.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally on web design projects, managing timelines from conception to delivery.
  • Oversee content management, consistency, and accuracy across all web properties.
  • Provide Google Analytics reporting and insights to inform digital strategy optimization.
  • Support new digital technology implementations and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and web content calendars.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Digital Media/Technology, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • **Experience:** Minimum 7 years in website management, front-end design, digital marketing, or web development.
  • **Technical Skills:**
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Google Suite (Analytics, Optimize, Search Console, Tag Manager). * Required experience with Sitefinity or similar Content Management Systems (CMS). * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. * **Preferred:** Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) and email marketing platforms. * **Preferred:** Experience in website accessibility and mobile app development.
  • **Core Competencies:**
* Exceptional time and project management skills with strong attention to detail. * Proven ability to think strategically and creatively while meeting deadlines. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff. * Ability to work independently, synthesize information, and provide recommendations. * Self-starter with a desire for continuous learning in web content strategy and digital marketing.
  • **Other:**
* Familiarity with membership associations preferred. * Ability to travel for meetings/events, including some weekends. * Hybrid work schedule: 3 days/week in Washington D.C. office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2 days remote.

  • *Compensation & Benefits:**
  • **Salary Range:** $100,000 - $115,000
