Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, requiring specific education, licensure, and clinical experience.

This role seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities and required qualifications vary based on experience and education level.

  • *Core Requirements:**
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Graduation from a professional nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
  • **Foreign Graduates:** Must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted registration. For higher degrees, formal degree equivalency validation from a recognized evaluator (e.g., ICD) is required.
  • **Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:** Candidates meeting education requirements but lacking licensure may be appointed temporarily (up to 2 years) while actively pursuing licensure.
  • *Education & Experience Levels:**
  • **Nurse I, Level I:**
* **Scope:** Delivers fundamental, knowledge-based care; develops technical competencies. * **Education:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing.
  • **Nurse I, Level II:**
* **Scope:** Integrates biopsychosocial concepts and provides technically competent care for basic or complex clients. * **Education:** ADN/Diploma + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level I); or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • **Nurse I, Level III:**
* **Scope:** Proficient in practice, self-directed in managing complex client situations. * **Education:** ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional nursing experience (1 year at Nurse I, Level II); OR BSN + 1 year professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level II); or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field (with BSN).
  • **Nurse II:**
* **Scope:** Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies. * **Education:** BSN + 2 years professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); OR MSN + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); or Master's degree in a related field (with BSN) + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field (with BSN).
  • **Nurse III:**
* **Scope:** Executes leadership responsibilities, applies creative approaches to complex client care beyond the immediate practice setting. * **Education:** MSN + 2 years specialized nursing experience (1 year at Nurse II); or Master's degree in a related field (with BSN) + 2 years specialized nursing experience (1 year at Nurse II); or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field (with BSN) + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse II).
  • *Note: Specific 'Dimension requirements' (Practice, Veteran/Patient Driven Care, Leadership, Professional Development, Evidence-Based Practice/Research) are assessed online.
  • *Preferred Experience:**
  • Tele-Emergency Care experience.
  • 5 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
  • 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
  • Moderate lifting and carrying (15-44 pounds).
  • Reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, both hands required.
  • Walking/standing, ability to see computer screen, and hearing (aid permitted).
  • *Environmental Factors:**
  • Working closely with others and working independently.
