Manage public relations and communications programs, enhance firm reputation, and lead a team at a global law firm.
Join WilmerHale as a Public Relations and Communications Manager, shaping and executing the firm's global communication and PR strategy.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Execute comprehensive public relations and communications programs aligned with firm initiatives and business goals.
- Advance the firm's reputation and brand through website strategies, blogs, social media, and content promotion.
- Oversee and produce diverse digital and print promotional and communication materials, ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage the firm's awards and surveys program, including editorial-based responses.
- Identify and create internal/external promotional opportunities, including engaging communications grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and business development teams to ensure news and feature stories are current and appealing.
- Assist in managing the internal communications and public relations team, fostering collaboration and an ambitious spirit.
- Contribute to managing selected external agencies and consultants.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and a service-oriented attitude.
- *Qualifications & Skills:**
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

- Proven ability to identify and create proactive media opportunities.

- *Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7-10 years of communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism experience.
- Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience successfully managing direct reports preferred.
