Summary
Lead US national security business development for CesiumAstro's advanced space communication systems, requiring TS/SCI clearance.
Join CesiumAstro, a pioneer in advanced communication systems for satellites, UAVs, and other space/airborne platforms. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to significantly expand our portfolio within the US national security and intelligence communities.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about technology commercialization and market growth in a startup environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead marketing, sales, and business development efforts specifically targeting US national security and intelligence markets.
- Continuously analyze and update market potential and trends for aerospace telecommunication electronics.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and prepare compelling RFI/RFP responses.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to articulate market needs and influence R&D roadmaps.
- Drive top-line revenue growth for the company.
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred); Master's desired.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant business development experience in the space or aerospace industry, with a focus on US national security markets.
- Proven track record in new business capture, developing classified proposals, and closing deals.
- Demonstrated expertise in solution selling and developing new markets from inception to successful strategic engagement.
- Experience coordinating technical teams (Mission/System Architects, Chief Engineers) to develop tailored customer solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Government contracting, acquisition trends, and customer buying behaviors.
- Effective presentation skills and experience leading meetings with senior decision-makers.
- Exceptional written communication and proposal writing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and a positive, team-player attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- *Eligibility & Clearance:**
- **Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance.**
